Warbreaker is the story of two sisters, who happen to be princesses, the God King one of them has to marry, the lesser god who doesn’t like his job, and the immortal who’s still trying to undo the mistakes he made hundreds of years ago. Is there by any chance another version of the audiobook that I could listen to? I didn't realize just how much I would miss Michael Kramer and Kate Reading until now. After bursting onto the fantasy scene with his acclaimed debut novel, Elantris, and following up with his blockbuster Mistborn trilogy, Brandon Sanderson proves again that he is today’s leading master of what Tolkien called “secondary creation,” the invention of whole worlds, complete with magics and myths all their own. Why did they pick this guy to do the audiobook for Warbreaker? Up until this point, I've really enjoyed listening to Brandon's books on audiobook. He's the worst, over-acting, over-the-top character I've ever heard in an audiobook! I remember loving Lightsong when I first read it, but, my mistake was that I decided to get the audiobook this time around, and the voice narrator is TERRIBLE. Fast forward to now, and I had just finished WoR and decided it was time to refresh myself on the Warbreaker story. I read Warbreaker in one of its free later drafts, but never read the published version. Not sure if this is the best subreddit for this, but I have a complaint and I'm wondering if others have had this same issue.
